The United States Capitol Flag Program

This program started in 1937 when a Member of Congress requested a flag that had flown over the Capitol. Over the years, these flags became honored keepsakes. Requests outgrew supply. As a result, the Architect of the Capitol instituted a program to allow purchase of smaller flags requested through Congressional Member’s offices. You cannot order them directly.

The program fulfills an average of more than 100,000 flags annually. Flags range in price from $13.25 to $22.55 (Plus shipping and handling), depending on size. Each comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, issued by the Architect of the Capitol.

Dangerous Phishing Email – Romney President

“CNN Breaking News — Mitt Romney Almost President.”

This is a very real threat. The US elections are upon us, so you may be tempted to open that email – DON’T!

There are dangerous links in that email, not to CNN. Clicking them will actually send you to a webpage that will scan your computer for additional security holes to exploit. And if you are fully patched (at least as far as this exploit is concerned), it will attempt to get you to install another program (for example a fake Adobe Flash install).

Hey are you “Sexting”

I freely admit, I do a little “sexting” every now and then. I like it, and I think it ‘spices’ up my life a little. As a matter of fact, I think everyone should have a ‘special’ friend they can get a little ‘risqué’ every now and then. I have one… and I highly recommend it.
